What the run feels like

On a 2024 Mac mini, the game loads areas in under three seconds. Camera pans across the slums and the Sarafan keep stay smooth — no microstutter when Kain spins mid-combat to face three thieves at once. The Wineskin wrapper adds no noticeable latency to weapon swings or Dark gift activation. Memory sits around 1.1 GB during play. CPU fans stay quiet. The wrapper itself runs as a translated process, so macOS sees it as a standard app — Mission Control, Spaces, and Cmd-Tab all work as expected.

One oddity: alt-tabbing out and back occasionally drops the frame rate for ten seconds before the wrapper recovers. Saving before switching windows is a small habit worth keeping.
