Fury Unleashed is a roguelite action platformer set inside the panels of a living comic book.

The game mixes hand-designed levels with procedural generation so each run through its ink-drenched world feels fresh. Every room is a comic page, and ink is your most valuable resource—spend it on skills that match your play style. You can change your character's appearance too. Faces, in fact, can be swapped out for custom images, which is a nice touch if you want to see yourself or someone else tearing through the panels.

Local co-op chaos with native controller support

Controller support is built in, and achievements are tracked as you go. This is a single-player game at its core, with the option for local co-op when you want to share the chaos. The Mac version runs on both Intel and Apple Silicon hardware and needs macOS Sierra 10.12 or later.

Aggression pays off with damage resistance and healing

Roguelite veterans who treat failure as feedback. The combo system rewards aggression—higher chains boost damage resistance and healing—so cautious players will hit a wall fast. If your instinct is to speed through rooms and chain kills without pausing, the loop clicks immediately.

The built-in difficulty parameters matter more than the easy/hard label suggests. Tweaking enemy health, damage scaling and ink drops lets you shape a run that fits your tolerance for punishment without gutting the core tension. Completionists who clear Hard mode unlock extra modes, so the ceiling stays high.

A palette cleanser after Xcode or Resolve

The game sits comfortably alongside lighter roguelites like Dead Cells, but the comic-panel structure makes it a natural break between heavier sessions—think of it as a palette cleanser after closing Xcode or wrapping a dense DaVinci Resolve timeline. It plays well with macOS full-screen mode, and switching spaces mid-run is clean on Apple Silicon. Controller support means your DualSense or Xbox pad connects without fiddling; the game picks it up the moment Bluetooth links. Local co-op also pairs with Steam Remote Play if you want to drag a friend in without them being in the room, though a second controller plugged directly is the smoother route.
