No sound on first launch—check your DAW audio engine

Patch exchange with the hardware modwave fails when firmware versions are mismatched. Update both the hardware and Modwave Native to the latest releases, then reconnect.

AU validation can stall in Logic Pro. The 1.4.2 release notes flag a known workaround — rescan the plugin from Logic's Plug-in Manager after the initial scan times out.

Shift-drag for fine control and other hidden shortcuts
